Holyoke is a perfect 3-0 against Byers since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Dragons will head out to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Holyoke has 12 straight wins, Byers has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Holyoke made easy work of Briggsdale and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Holyoke walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Byers came up short against Stratton on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Byers was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-13.

Holyoke's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Byers, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Everything went Holyoke's way against Byers in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Holyoke made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
