Baseball Game Preview: Muncy Indians vs. Millville Quakers

The Muncy Indians will square off against the Millville Quakers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Millville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Muncy, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Muncy made easy work of Bucktail and carried off a 13-3 win. Considering the Indians' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Millville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 8-3 to Benton.

Millville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Brokenshire, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Brokenshire hit this season. Dylan Brokenshire was another, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Millville's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Muncy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything went Muncy's way against Millville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Muncy made off with a 15-3 win. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Quakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
