Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Takes a Loss

Lafayette Jefferson lost against Perry Meridian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bronchos fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1.

Azlan Rodriguez paced Lafayette Jefferson's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Erik Ayala Gallardo and his 26 assists.

Lafayette Jefferson has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6 record this season. As for Perry Meridian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Lafayette Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Zionsville on the 3rd. As for Perry Meridian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Madison on the 3rd.
