Basketball Game Preview: George West Longhorns vs. Aransas Pass Panthers

The George West Longhorns will face off against the Aransas Pass Panthers at 6:15 p.m. George West has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

George West is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Mathis 64-45 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Aransas Pass blew past Mathis, posting a 91-43 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Aransas Pass is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for George West, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-14.

George West and Aransas Pass were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but George West came up empty-handed after a 53-52 defeat. Can George West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
