Newark Collegiate Academy won the last time they faced Ferris, and things went their way on Saturday, too. Newark Collegiate Academy were fully in charge, breezing past Ferris 54-2. Newark Collegiate Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The victory got Newark Collegiate Academy out to a 1-0 start for the season. The loss dropped Ferris' record to 0-2.

Next week Newark Collegiate Academy take on Tenafly at 7:00 PM. As for Ferris, they will face off against Orange.
