Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Grizzlies vs. Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS

Jefferson and Hillsdale are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Jefferson Grizzlies will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Jefferson and eight for Hillsdale.

Last Friday, Jefferson came up short against Woodside and fell 45-36.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale lost to Carlmont at home by a 64-46 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 672nd, while the Scots are ranked 217th).

Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Jefferson didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hillsdale in their previous matchup on January 8th, but they still walked away with a 50-44 victory. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Hillsdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
