Basketball Recap: Berwyn/Cicero Morton Comes Up Short

Berwyn/Cicero Morton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 40-29 to the Wheeling Wildcats. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Wheeling, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton will welcome Addison Trail at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. As for Wheeling, they will venture away from home to face off against Leyden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
