Volleyball Recap: Allen Eagles vs. Keller Indians
Allen extended their postseason success on Friday against Keller. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Keller Indians , sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Allen took Keller into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-19, 25-20, 13-25, 15-9.
Allen was led to victory by Avery Penrod and Emily Capangpangan. Penrod had 32 digs, while Capangpangan had 13 digs and 30 assists. Capangpangan is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last 23 games she's played.
Allen is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 31-12 record this season. As for Keller, they moved to 30-5 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
