Basketball Recap: Kimberly Comes Up Short

Kimberly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 98-79 fall against the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (66), the Papermakers still had to take the loss.

Kimberly's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Kaukauna, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimberly will host West De Pere at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kaukauna, they will take on Fond du Lac at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kaukauna knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 contests -- so hopefully Fond du Lac likes a good challenge.
