Luther Prep came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Brookfield Academy Blue Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Phoenix, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Emma Neyhart paced Luther Prep's offense, picking up six kills. Neyhart got some help from Lorelei Candler and her 14 assists. Candler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Luther Prep's win bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Brookfield Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

Luther Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against St. Francis on the 17th. Brookfield Academy has also already played their next contest (against Heritage Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
