Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Comes Up Short

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Venice Indians.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Venice, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Lakeland will take on Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeland is facing Kathleen at the right time seeing as Kathleen is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Venice, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
