Basketball Game Preview: Silver Creek Black Knights vs. Eden Raiders

The Silver Creek Black Knights will square off against the Eden Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Silver Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Cattaraugus-Little Valley with a sharp 75-53 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Black Knights in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Eden came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 82-44 victory over the Thunderhawks. With the Raiders ahead 43-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Eden's win came from a few key players Silver Creek will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kobe Genco, who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 25 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 41.5% three-point shooting accuracy. Chris Krencik was another key player, going 9-for-14 on his way to 24 points and seven rebounds.

Eden's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Silver Creek, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
