It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Fluvanna County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Western Albemarle Warriors by a score of 11-7. The win was nothing new for the Flying Flucos as they're now sitting on five straight.

Fluvanna County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Western Albemarle, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Fluvanna County will host Liberty Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Albemarle, they will square off against Goochland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
