Football Recap: Vestaburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Vestaburg extended their losing streak to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 0-9. They lost 34-14 to the Dansville Aggies. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolverines came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Aggies are ranked 455th).

When it comes to explaining why Vestaburg lost, don't look at Jason Schilling. Despite the final result, he rushed for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Dansville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mayson Burgett went supernova, rushing for 152 yards and two TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 185 yards and three touchdowns. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Hunter Greenman was another key player, picking up 88 receiving yards and three scores.

As of now, neither Vestaburg nor Dansville have any future games scheduled.
