Softball Recap: Northside Wins Going Away Against Cordova

Northside won the last time they faced Cordova and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Northside Rams' way against the Cordova Blue Devils as the Northside Rams made off with a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Northside got a massive performance out of Reagan Robertson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Robertson has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Avery Sharbutt, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .640. They are undefeated (3-0) when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Northside now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Cordova, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.

Coming up, Northside will square off against Cordova at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cordova, they will face off against Winfield at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
