Basketball Recap: Milwaukee Madison Takes a Loss

Milwaukee Madison came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 100-78 to the Washington Purgolders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (65), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Washington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Solomon Dotson out in front who posted 30 points. The dominant performance gave Dotson a new career-high in points. Arnold Smith was another key player, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 12 boards.

Milwaukee Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
