Hope Academy found their leader in underclassman Dwayne Foreman III, who scored 23 points along with six assists and four steals. The contest was Foreman III's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Xavier Shine was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
The win got Cocoa back to even at 2-2. As for Hope Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
Wednesday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy game: Cocoa have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 28.5 rebounds per game.
