Rochester and Hoquiam are an even 4-4-1 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Warriors will square off against the Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hoquiam took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rochester, who comes in off a win.

If Rochester beats Hoquiam with eight goals on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 8-3 margin over Ilwaco on Wednesday. Considering Rochester have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Hoquiam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-1 to Raymond/South Bend. While losing is never fun, Hoquiam can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Raymond/South Bend are ranked 54th).

Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four contests. As for Hoquiam, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Rochester beat Hoquiam by a goal when the teams last played back in March, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
