Softball Game Preview: Riverside Rams vs. Pennsauken Tech

The Riverside Rams will take on Pennsauken Tech at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Riverside came up short against Maple Shade on Thursday, falling 11-3. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Pemberton hit Pennsauken Tech with a six-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Pennsauken Tech fell just short of Pemberton by a score of 8-7.

Lydia Heatwole was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with eight stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiana Rosario, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Pennsauken Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
