Basketball Recap: Kyler Edelen's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rosehill Christian over Evadale

If Rosehill Christian was riding high fresh off their 59-12 takedown of Legacy Prep Christian Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost to the Evadale Rebels on the road by a 44-30 margin on Thursday.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyler Edelen, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. Mya Johnson was another key player, putting up four points and 17 rebounds.

Rosehill Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Evadale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Rosehill Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-40 defeat against Lumberton on the 4th. As for Evadale, they have also already played their next contest, a 32-29 loss against Buna on the 4th.
