Softball Recap: Tennessee Takes a Loss

Tennessee lost against Unicoi County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Addie Wilhoit made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and one double.

Tennessee has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Unicoi County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tennessee will square off against Elizabethton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Unicoi County, they will face off against West Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
