Queen's Grant has gone 7-1 against Valor Preparatory Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 66th in North Carolina, while the Warriors are ranked sixth in South Carolina).

Despite their loss, Queen's Grant saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Mekhi Allen, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Allen continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Chase Smith was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took for 11 points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Valor Preparatory Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Sugar Creek Charter by a score of 64-52. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Queen's Grant has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Queen's Grant came up short against Valor Preparatory Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 72-67. Can Queen's Grant avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
