Volleyball Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stratford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brookfield Bobcats. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 5, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Stratford started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-23.

Stratford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Brookfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Stratford has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Harding on the 3rd. As for Brookfield, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bunnell at 12:00 p.m. on the 18th.
