Volleyball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

The Elgin Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Long Creek Dragons on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Long Creek, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elgin will host Northeast Early College at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Long Creek, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
