Soccer Game Preview: Snohomish vs. Monroe

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Snohomish challenge Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Snohomish will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Snohomish is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Stanwood on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Snohomish have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Monroe gave up the first goal last Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Glacier Peak by a score of 3-1.

Monroe pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three games. As for Snohomish, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.
