Football Game Preview: St. Mary's Rams vs. Waco Christian Warriors

The St. Mary's Rams will take on the Waco Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Friday, St. Mary's humbled NYOS Charter with a 91-45 victory.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waco Christian). They breezed past St. Paul's Prep to the tune of 89-51 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Waco Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for St. Mary's, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything went St. Mary's way against Waco Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as St. Mary's made off with a 54-34 victory. In that game, the Rams amassed a halftime lead of 33-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
