Basketball Recap: Altamonte Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Altamonte Christian was handed a 22-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the City of Life Christian Academy Warriors, sneaking past 64-62. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Ryan Almeda, who went 6 for 7 on his way to 17 points. Jacoby Osbourne was another key player, putting up nine points.

Altamonte Christian moved to 3-10 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for City of Life Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Altamonte Christian has already played their next contest, a 54-52 win against Harmony on the 7th. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 78-40 victory against Brevard HEAT on the 7th.
