After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Avon, Steele was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Holy Name Green Wave an 8-0 shutout. Considering Steele have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Holy Name from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Noah Clinton led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Steele pushed their record up to 8-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three contests. As for Holy Name, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-3.

Coming up, Steele will square off against North Ridgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Steele are facing North Ridgeville at the right time seeing as North Ridgeville are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Holy Name, they have already played their next matchup, a 10-1 defeat against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on the 30th.
