Soccer Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset was the 2-0 winner over Archimedean when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of Archimedean by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Sunset have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Archimedean, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season.

Sunset will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central at 3:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026. As for Archimedean, they are taking a road trip to take on Westwood Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
