Football Recap: Airport Comes Up Short

Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 38-6 defeat at the hands of the Riverview Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Pirates are ranked 74th).

Airport's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Riverview, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Airport is set to challenge their familiar foe Flat Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Riverview will face off against rival Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
