Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Penn Cambria). They blew past the Bishop McCort Crushers 81-56 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Crushers: they've now won six in a row.

Penn Cambria's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Rabish, who went 9-for-18 to rack up 27 points. That's the most points Rabish has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Gibbons, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 17 points.

Penn Cambria smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Penn Cambria's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. As for Bishop McCort, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Penn Cambria wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 78-47 victory against Somerset on the 11th. Bishop McCort does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
