Clatskanie put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Rainier Columbians with points to spare, taking the game 45-28. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Columbians on their field since October 20, 2017.

Clatskanie's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rainier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clatskanie will challenge Vernonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Loggers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rainier, they will host Corbett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Columbians will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
