Basketball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

The Monroe Dragons were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 31-30 to the Douglas Trojans.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Douglas, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

While Monroe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
