Basketball Recap: Eldred Takes a Loss

Eldred lost against Tri-Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eldred Yellowjackets fell 56-49 to the Tri-Valley Bears.

Despite the loss, Eldred still got an impressive performance from Mason Mckerrell, who went 7 of 10 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was James Deyermond, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Eldred's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Tri-Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Eldred will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fallsburg at 6:30 p.m. As for Tri-Valley, they will head out to square off against Onteora at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Onteora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.
