Soccer Game Preview: Greenbrier vs. White House

Greenbrier is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Thursday. They will head out on the road to challenge the White House Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Greenbrier came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against White House-Heritage, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, White House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to West Creek.

Greenbrier's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for White House, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Greenbrier beat White House 5-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
