Dow and Central are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Chargers will head out to face off against the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Dow, who comes in off a win.

Dow barely beat Athens the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargers put the hurt on the Red Hawks with a sharp 13-3 win on Saturday. The Chargers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Central came up short against Alma on Saturday and fell 9-5. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory got Dow back to even at 2-2. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Dow beat Central 10-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
