Volleyball Recap: Plainwell Gets the Win

The Plainwell Trojans were able to grind out a solid win over the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Despite the defeat, Grosse Pointe South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anna Groustra had 13 digs and two aces.

Plainwell's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Grosse Pointe South, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Plainwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Chelsea on the 13th. As for Grosse Pointe South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Vicksburg on the 13th.
