Baseball Recap: Taylor Wildcats vs. Matanzas Pirates
Taylor lost to Matanzas last Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 11-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.
Chase Heimbach was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Heimbach was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.
