After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aurora, Highland was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Buckeye Bucks with a sharp 9-3 victory. The Hornets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Highland picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Buckeye, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Highland will take on Copley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Buckeye, they will face off against Holy Name at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Green Wave will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bucks surely won't give up without a fight.
