Northern Highlands comes up short despite Lucas Dipasupil's strong performance

Recap: Northern Highlands Highlanders vs. Don Bosco Prep Ironmen

It was a good run, but the Northern Highlands Highlanders unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 63-49 bruising from Don Bosco Prep. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northern Highlands in their matchups with Don Bosco Prep: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the loss, Northern Highlands still got an impressive performance from Lucas Dipasupil, who scored 26 points. Sawyer Chapler was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.

Northern Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Don Bosco Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northern Highlands will challenge Fair Lawn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Don Bosco Prep is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Ridgewood at 4:15 p.m. on February 13th. Ridgewood is on a three-game streak of home wins, Don Bosco Prep a eight-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
