Volleyball Recap: Kimball Cubs vs. Royalton Royals

Kimball lost against Royalton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cubs came up short against the Royals, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cubs have suffered against the Royals since September 12, 2019.

While Kimball was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-23.

Mazie Jurek paced Kimball's offense, picking up nine kills. Jurek got some help from Bree Johnson and her 24 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
