Basketball Game Preview: East Knox Bulldogs vs. Cardington-Lincoln Pirates

East Knox and Cardington-Lincoln are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The East Knox Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Knox is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Monday, East Knox lost to Utica at home by a 55-41 margin.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cardington-Lincoln beat Pleasant 57-52 on Monday.

Cardington-Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for East Knox, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

East Knox was taken down by Cardington-Lincoln 79-42 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point East Knox was down 39-17.
