Volleyball Recap: Ipswich Comes Up Short

Ipswich managed to slip by Hamilton-Wenham Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Generals on Monday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Ipswich was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Addie Olson, who had 22 assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last eight contests. Grace Harres also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Ipswich's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

Ipswich has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Masconomet Regional on the 21st. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Newburyport on the 22nd.
