Softball Game Preview: Inderkum Tigers vs. Vista del Lago Eagles

The Inderkum Tigers will take on the Vista del Lago Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Inderkum is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Inderkum made easy work of Rio Americano and carried off an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Ambrosia Estacio, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jenna King, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Inderkum always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Vista del Lago waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They skirted past the Bruins 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ella Dossey was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Vista del Lago's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Inderkum, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
