Basketball Recap: Tree of Life Christian Victorious

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Tree of Life Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Madison Christian Eagles, sneaking past 42-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since January 23rd.

Despite the loss, Madison Christian still got an impressive performance from Jasmine Harris, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 22 rebounds. Madison Christian is 2-1 when Harris posts eight or more rebounds, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Wray, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and five blocks.

Tree of Life Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Madison Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Tree of Life Christian will look to defend their home court on December 21st against Cristo Rey at 1:00 p.m. Madison Christian has already played their next matchup, a 36-25 defeat against Briggs on the 14th.
