Basketball Recap: Huntingdon Has No Trouble Against Bellwood-Antis

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Huntingdon on Monday. They took down the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils 65-46. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 58-49 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

When it comes to explaining why Bellwood-Antis lost, don't look at Martin Fatzinger. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 15 on his way to 12 points and eight boards. Those 12 points gave Fatzinger a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Dorminy, who posted 13 points.

Huntingdon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bellwood-Antis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntingdon will square off against Penns Valley Area at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huntingdon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Penns Valley Area likes a good challenge. As for Bellwood-Antis, they will face off against Philipsburg-Osceola at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
