Baseball Recap: Liberty County Takes a Loss

If Liberty County was riding high fresh off their 12-0 takedown of Munroe on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Liberty County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Bay Haven Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Liberty County will square off against Blountstown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will take on Tate at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
