After flying high against Vassar on Monday, Reese came back down to earth. The Rockets fell 9-4 to the Standish-Sterling Panthers on Saturday. The Rockets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Reese saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney DuRussel, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Ashtyn Frost, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Reese's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Standish-Sterling, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-10.

Reese wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-4 defeat against Yale on the 24th. As for Standish-Sterling, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Clio on the 24th.
