Softball Recap: Bauxite Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Bauxite's offense. They lost 12-0 to the White Hall Bulldogs on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 back in March.

Bauxite saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kim Smith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Bauxite now has a losing record of 10-11. As for White Hall, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Bauxite will host Glen Rose at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for White Hall, they will venture away from home to face off against Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
