Baseball Recap: Pickens Takes a Loss

Pickens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Travelers Rest Devildogs, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Devildogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-1 loss back in March.

Pickens saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Wilson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Pickens' defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Travelers Rest, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Pickens nor Travelers Rest have any future games scheduled.
